Rocketflair are a game development studio based in Belfast, we’re looking for talented people to help us create the games we love.

We have a passion for building unique games, and our whole team is hard at work on a number of exciting projects.

Currently we’re looking for a number of roles, have a read below and see if you’re a fit for us. You’ll need to be able to work from our office in Belfast at least a couple of days per week.

UI Artist

Rocketflair Games are seeking a User Interface Artist to work on an exciting new video game project.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience designing new user interfaces based on criteria put forward by the production team. Extensive knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is required. Knowledge of other design and user flow applications are beneficial.

Requirements:

  • Showcase of previous user interface design.
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and related design software.
  • Excellent team working and communication skills.
  • Portfolio of previous work.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience using Unity 3D.
  • Released products / games showcase. 


Software Developer (Unity 3D):

Rocketflair Games are looking for a talented developer to join our programming team. The candidate should have prior experience building games in Unity 3D. The candidate should also have a good knowledge of C#. Any personal game development projects you have are a big bonus!

Requirements:

  • Experienced C# Developer.
  • Able to efficiently test and debug code.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Portfolio of previous work.

Nice to have:

  • Experience using Unity 3D.
  • Plenty of personal Unity Projects.
  • Has fully developed and released a title.
  • Github Repo.

Character / Creature Rigger:

We’re also looking for a 3D artist to join the team with a focus on rigging. Experience in any 3D modelling program will be considered. The candidate must have prior, professional experience with rigging.

Requirements:

  • Ability to create high quality character & creature rigs for animation.
  • Good technical Understanding of 3D Engines.
  • Proficient in 3D Programs (Blender, Maya or Equivalent).
  • Strong Portfolio.

Nice to have:

  • Plenty of personal projects.
  • Has experience using Unity 3D.
  • Proficient in a texturing program such as Substance Painter.
  • Experienced in both hard surface and organic modelling.
