Unity3D Visual Effects / Environment Artist
As our Unity3D Visual Effects/Environment Artist, you will play a pivotal role in creating immersive and visually stunning experiences for our games. Collaborate with the art team to create exciting visual effects and environments within Unity 3D, while overseeing the quality of such assets across the project. The work will involve working with the creative leadership to design and create beautiful 3D environments in engine, with the assistance of a skilled 3D art team. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring visual effects are optimised and run across multiple platforms, ensuring consistency in the overall visual style of the game. You’ll also have the opportunity to develop and refine tools for the art production process, assist in project scope for timely milestone deliveries, and actively collaborate with other artists and designers.
Your creativity will shine through the dynamic VFX animations and immersive environment designs that you create, consistent with the overall visual style of the game. You’ll also support the Creative Director in shaping the overall artistic vision of the game, taking ownership of VFX elements and environments which are deeply linked with the gameplay in our titles.
- Create high-quality, optimized visual effects using Unity 3D, including particle systems, shaders, textures, lighting, and post-processing effects.
- Utilize your artistic skills to design and animate various visual effects, such as explosions, fire, water, magic spells, and environmental effects.
Proficiency in industry-standard software: Unity3D (required), Photoshop, Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, or Houdini is a crucial, as is a solid understanding of traditional art and animation principles, 3D modelling, and particle systems.
Additional nice-to-have competencies include familiarity with node-based material and shader workflows, excellent communication and collaboration skills, strong asset management, a passion for video games, a deep understanding of the gaming industry, and strong problem-solving skills to tackle tight deadlines.

Game Designer
As the Game Designer of our team, your contribution will be crucial in crafting captivating and intricately designed experiences for our games. Your primary responsibility will be to translate our design philosophies into consistently engaging content. To excel in this role, you should demonstrate a proven track record in game design, possess strong critical thinking and analytical skills, exhibit exceptional interpersonal abilities, and harbour a longstanding passion for games.
As a City Builder/Simulation Game Designer, you will be responsible for shaping the gameplay mechanics, systems, and overall player experience of our city builder/simulation games. Your role will involve designing and implementing features that simulate the intricacies of careful city planning, resource management, infrastructure development, and citizen behaviour. While also being given the opportunity to pitch in and actively participate in the creation of proposals for future projects.
- Define game systems and the associated skills and player usage to shape the player’s in-game experiences.
- Participate in the development of prototypes and ensuring their success to provide a firm basis for production.
- Define design team targets and task lists in collaboration with the producer.
- Ensure good communications to and from juniors, up to lead and director level.
- Collaborate with the other department leads to ensure positive communication and problem solving between disciplines and across production.

Software Developer (Unity 3D):
- Experienced C# Developer.
- Able to efficiently test and debug code.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Portfolio of previous work.
- Experience using Unity 3D.
- Plenty of personal Unity Projects.
- Has fully developed and released a title.
- Github Repo.
